San Chaung is a Burmese photojournalist with experience covering a wide range of political and social stories and events throughout Myanmar. He has spent more than a decade working with some of the largest news publications in the country, picking up numerous awards both in Myanmar and regionally for his coverage of political issues in his home country. Since the military coup in Myanmar San Chaung has been working freelance, covering the popular uprising in the country and the subsequent social and economic fallout.
